The Story Behind the Glow

Herbaceous Skincare was born from a lifelong devotion to art, beauty, fragrance, and the natural world. As a child, creativity and self-care were my sanctuary. I sifted through my mom’s makeup, experimented with her treasured skin elixirs, hosted spa nights with friends, and even gave my dad the occasional makeover. Those early moments lit a spark in me, one that has never dimmed.

My path, however, was far from effortless. Living with a chronic autoimmune skin condition meant years spent in dermatologists’ offices searching for answers. I learned more than I ever imagined, yet nothing ever brought true, lasting relief. That struggle reshaped my life and led me to train as a certified aesthetician and aromatherapist, eventually gathering over two decades of hands-on experience, including ten years in clinical and medical environments.

Along the way, I discovered something essential: skin is never just skin. It reflects our inner world, including our health, stress, emotions, and environment. Becoming a certified foot reflexologist and exploring holistic practices deepened my understanding of how intricately connected the body is and how powerful it is when skincare supports the whole person, not just the surface.

Years of research, experimentation, curiosity, and learning through trial and error evolved into a steady calling. I wanted to create skincare that felt luxurious yet grounding, formulations that are sensorial, refined, and truly effective.
